Day Zoo
If you love animals, there is no better place to vacation in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is because it houses the Audubon Zoo, one of the best zoos in the nation. There are over 1,500 animals that come from different countries around the world. In fact, when you visit the Audubon Zoo you will see the 350 different species of animals, which is simply incredible!
One of the many animals here are white tigers, rhinos, gorillas and reptiles, more than you can imagine. In one room there are alligators, even the whites, which are very rare and something that many people never vu! Children and adults of all ages really enjoy seeing the animal shows with sea lions or the time to feed the giraffes, dragons of Komodo, the lizards, etc..
Much experience is the Embraceable Zoo endangered domestic animals can be touched and loved. Children and animals are a well that and is an excellent place to take good pictures too. Another fun place in the Children Zoon Audubon Zoo. There is a carousel and a ride simulator Safari that is fun and can actually break the day to see animals.
The Audubon Nature Institute operates the New Orleans Audubon Zoo, located in the Audubon Park. Hours are from 9:30 am Zoo - 5 pm daily from early November to late March. Summer time is from 9:30 - 5 pm in weekdays and until 6 pm on weekends. The zoo is open almost every day of the year except the first Friday of May, Mardi Gras, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission for adults is $ 12, seniors 65 and older is $ 9 and children 2-12 is $ 7.
